PASARSE POLITICAMENTE

Featuring Rocío Zambrana, University of Oregon Philosophy. Taking as points of departure the notion of “pasare políticamente”—a phrase coined by Puerto Rican poet and activist Guillermo Rebollo Gil and Benjamin’s concept of ”interruption” Entsetzung) this talk explores concrete acts of protests and resistance in order to highlight ongoing efforts to interrupt the violence of austerity in fiscally distressed Puerto Rico.
