About the event
Whether you're in a relationship or playing the field, Valentine's Day reminds us that love is all around us (or at least in a 15 mile radius). The spread of dating apps have redefined the way we look for love, and our dependence on them or aversion to them, speaks to a multitude of social and cultural shifts. Are these apps for mere convenience or will they be the demise of human interaction? Does participation in one app but not others say something about you or the relationship you're looking for? Or more importantly, if you refuse to participate in them, will society leave you behind? Dating apps were designed to ease the stress of dating and put our quest for companionship in the palm of our hands, and eliminate that lonely single feeling, but its worth considering that maybe we were better off without them.
