About the event
UNA-USC, USC WCA, SAGE, and the Levan Institute are proud to present The Necessity of Women in Storytelling: Female Voices in Hollywood and Around the World. We will be hearing from two accomplished professors, Lyn Boyd-Judson and Diana Blaine. Professor Boyd-Judson is the Founder of the Women's Narrative Project, the Director of USC's Levan Institute for Humanities and Ethics, and the UNESCO Chair for Global Humanities and Ethics Education. Dr. Blaine is a Professor of Writing and Gender Studies and specializes in feminist theory and the representation of women in media and the arts. The professors will discuss the necessity of women telling their stories, the difficulties in sharing stories, and how to overcome these challenges.
